Starting with an existing residence influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright’s Usonian homes, this remodel pays homage to the Mid-Century Modern era. The home, designed in 1954 by Morgan Shaw, was completely renovated to assure a comfortable living environment for its new owners. Finishes and furnishings were selected which would reflect the iconic and playful styles of the period including coordinating the color turquoise throughout. This home features a gourmet kitchen, multiple sitting areas, and beautiful bathrooms each with their own custom features.
Interior design services included planning and construction documents, local agency review for permits, architectural finish specification, cabinetry, fixture and furniture layout and specification.
