Preserving history for generations to come, this project renovated a former VFW Hall in the City of San Joaquin into a 6,900 square foot community center for social gatherings, youth activities, computer training, conferencing facility, as well as providing a full service kitchen for seniors' meal preparations. Primarily a grant funded project, however through team support, the community received much more than originally planned.
Interior design services were provided in coordination with DKSJ Architects and included facility planning, tenant improvement construction documents, bidding and local agency review for permits, architectural finish specification and kitchen equipment and furniture specification.
